I really like the sharp points of each petal on the flower. It makes for a strong statement.
Even a non flower person like me has to admit this is a great shot. I agree with Kevin, the flower does pop out of the image.I am even more impressed by the HDR treatment.

For some strange reason I hadn't thought of using HDR for botanicals. Your image is exquisite; a pleasure to view.
