Palmer Girls Cupcakes

Julia and Olivia made the BEST cupcakes yesterday afternoon, I went in the kitchen and was like "If I was not lazy I would shoot that for Stock", so I did a quick set up on the cutting board and fired off a couple shots. Great job Palmer Girls.

Been busy doing some design work so the blog has been neglected, but today I was inspired by Scott Kelby's Sessions. I dusted off the camera, fired up some strobes and got shooting. Michael will be next with his Sax.

We went to the Maryland Renaissance Festival over the holiday and Olivia had her hair braided.

That was about the reaction to a 7am shoot with her, she just wanted to get to school.

Olivia's First Rickshaw

Olivia is out of school for a couple days while they orient the new K's. We decide to go to the Natural History Museum in DC. We parked by the Washington Monument and walked to the American Indian for lunch (Buffalo Chili Indian Fry bread Taco) and then back to the Natural History. She was a bit tired after a few miles in sandals, so we jumped in a rickshaw back to the car. Gotta go..... perfect day for a visit to the Zoo.

Off To The Races

Julia was comped some tickets to the Virginia Gold Cup races this year, her and Liv got in to the part this morning and are heading out with some gal pals to enjoy the day.

SNOW DAY!!!

It was a classic snow day here yesterday! We conquered the hill at the middle school later in the day!! Freezing rain all night so its a ICE DAY today! 5 day weekend for Michael!! Yes to all of you north of us, we got 2 inches of snow in the nations capital and the schools were closed.

Back from the quick trip north, We only made it to Bear Mountain, NY. Not full of the photo Op's that we had hoped for. When we had decent foliage we had no light, it was overcast most of the day yesterday - I did get a cool shot of a weed though = ) I will post it later this week.
