Erin Mantz Portrait

Here is Erin's Bio from her latest blog with Hybrid Mom.

Erin Mantz is a Washington, D.C. based writer and mom to two adventurous boys ages 7 and 3. A firm believer in moms having a life and saving their sanity, she frequently writes about parenting issues and work/life balance with a sense of humor and optimism. She serves as Editor-at-Large for Washington Parent Magazine and has appeared on NBC News 4 in Washington, DC. In addition to writing for Hybrid Mom, her work has appeared in Tango Magazine, Bethesda Magazine and Washington Woman. Her first book, Dads, Teach Your Child 2-6 About Computers, will be published in summer of 2008 by WonderDads Publishing. Visit her site at www.erinmantz.com.

Erin is a good friend of the family, and we are "bus stop buddies" with our sons. It was a great opportunity for me to be able to take a portrait of her. Thanks Erin. Go see her new blog at Hybrid Mom. She does share blog space with a couple other moms, so have a look or point your favorite mom there.

Thanks for introducing a powerful Mom to use. I could use some of her tips on work and balance at the moment!

I really liked this series when you first shared it with me. I appreciated seeing what you did with the flash and the umbrella before buying my set up.

Thanks for also sharing the settings in your post.

Well done Mike. The edge of the deck was a perfect place for these photos.
