Viewing Philip Guston

We had a excellent day yesterday. We went to Good Stuff Eatery (tomorrows post) on Capital Hill for lunch and visited the National Gallery of Art for a stroll in 20th century art. Philip Guston was up some stairs and this is the scene in the tower. There was this incredible light pouring in from the skylights. Julia just naturally walked over to view, I hung back. I am very linear, so I saw this immediately.

New DC Photographer Meetup Group

The "When everyone else is working photography meetup group" started yesterday for photographers in the area. I will be organizing one or two morning meet ups each month in the DC area. Anyone can join, and if you can make it to a few, all the better.

Totally Touristy

We met Brian (the guy flying with the whale) when we lived in Orlando a couple years ago, but never got the chance to be at Seaworld for our behind the scenes tour with him. Michael, Olivia and Alexis loved it (as did the adults). They (we) even had a opportunity to touch and feed the Killer Whale. Thanks Brian, it was a highlight during the week.

Perfectly Perfect

Waiting for the Believe show at Seaworld Orlando I point the camera at Olivia and this is the pose she struck. She is such a natural in front of the camera.
