On the walk in Manassas we went into Prospero's Books - Great used book shop and friendly people. It was worth the time to look around, I even bought a couple older photo essay books.

Also for all of you HDR fans out there, Friend of the Blog, and DC local Ferrell McCollough published a Complete Guide To High Dynamic Range Photography book. I am heading up to Barnes and Noble to get my copy today. Also check out his blog .

During or photowalk in Manassas we wandered into a pottery store, After some milling I found this and was like "Wolf, that is screaming ReDynaMix".

Old Town Manassas

Been about 5 years since I was in Manassas. Friday Wolf and I headed there for a little afternoon photowalk. So this week is Manassas week, edits from the old town area.

Friday Shooting with Wolf

Have some shooting to do today with Wolf, suppose to be 80 degrees today. This was shot last month on the waterfront in Georgetown. Wolf is checking his shots.

Peace

I am prepping for our vacation up the east coast to Maine and went over to Weekly Photography Tips and BAM a workshop the same week I am there. I have traded email a couple times with Scott in the past and am looking even more forward to heading up that way to meet him and attend the Lighting Essentials workshop at his studio. Also getting tips of where to shoot by a local photographer - that my friends- priceless = )

Congrats Baby

I did do some studio portraits for my wife's team from work this weekend, and I was thrilled to edit her portrait that I took last fall. Julia was promoted at Bloomingdale's to Operating Vice President last week. We are very proud of her around here. I shoot the Jr. and Sr. Executive portraits for a display wall they have in the store.

Cherry Blossom Street

Took the kids to the park at the end of the street yesterday. A lot of Cherry Blossom Glory on the street we live on here in Potomac, MD. We were still living in Florida this time last year and you easily forget how great spring is. Olivia said it was to warm for a jacket.
