I wanted to say thanks to Shawn Duffy for a feature photographer posting over at his site. Feels good when someone takes a little more interest then just recognizing comments on their site. Shawn has some great images of his own, and most recently sold his images from the DCist photography gallery exhibit. His site is on my go to everyday.

Mike, This is a great shot. You had a great sky day. One of those that just comes alive with HDR-style processing. I'm probably not going out to Great Falls until after the foliage comes back. The other Mike want to do a photowalk there but truthfully, I don't know if it's really photowalk material. Besides that, I don't want someone holding me liable for getting hurt by climbing on the rocks. Keep up the good work.

Well I've surfaced...
Sorry for not being around. My day job has a nasty habit of consuming everything for periods. I've had to work 130+ hours each week for the past three weeks which left time for sleeping and not much else.
I have a few days off over Easter to catch up on a few things but to be honest I'm not looking to do much other than relax.
Back to "normal" for now...
