This week is going to be some quick edits from the past weeks. This is a shot from the lighting workshop in Maine. The model was on the edge of shade and we had a small strobe @ 1/8 power fired by pocket wizard to camera right. I am done with my week of Dreamweaver, and this week I am going to try and apply what I have learned. Already gave my homepage a quick face lift. http://www.mpalmerphotography.com/
I am also officially OPEN for business this week. 301.841.7684 if you need something shot.
ALSO over at Jason D. Moore Photography you will find today installment of Geographic Composition. The theme was discarded.

Sarah
I had good intentions of some more shots of Maine. This is a edit from the weekend at the bay with Senan and his family. I should have time tonight to transfer all of the Maine shots to my desktop and get a couple edits done for this week. Busy week, I started the class, the kids are in camp, they also have swim team practice 4 nights, Michael starts football tomorrow night and I have about 2,000 images to sort out from the week prior to vacation, and did I mention I am starting to take bookings and also have another Georgetown shoot to do. eehaa nice to be out from under the rock = )
Dreamweaver Class
In class today at the Corcoran as I type, on break, so check back later. I hope to have some images from last week.

Still Alive in Maine
The vacation is almost over. We have had a great week so far. I went to a lighting workshop at Scott Eccleston studio yesterday. It was great to be able to put a handshake to his blog, Weekly Photo Tips. The workshop was good and learned a couple of new tips. Here is one of the images from the day of shooting. Thanks for the hospitality Scott and Gary.

VACATION
We are off to Maine!!! Been looking forward to this trip for months. Hopefully you will not see my mug smiling at you when you check back, I will try and get some images up over the time there. Julia gets the photo credit here. Something about the prospect of fishing makes you smile bigger.

Yellow
Took this at the US Botanical Gardens, Just a quick edit in Lightroom. We leave for Maine on Friday and I need to be getting ready for it, and I know there is no WiFi at the beach house, so I will have to do some prepost and maybe talk Scott over at Weekly Photo Tips into letting me post a couple shots when I am at a lighting seminar at his studio next Wednesday.
