Here in Canada people are captivated by Obama. Many of the schools had assemblies to watch the ceremony. My daughter said that at her school, the children actually listened attentively and showed appropriate respect and enthusiasm - not always the case at a middle school. I'm sure at the end of the day, a lot of Canadians had to remind themselves that they can't claim Obama as their leader. ;-)
It does give you hope for brighter days!
