On Saturday, we took the kids to DC to try Ben's Chili Bowl and spend the day downtown. The line we encountered kept us walking down the street to seek out something quicker on U st. I know that it would have been worth the wait, but with the kids in tow, my first Ben's Half Smoke will have to wait.

On Saturday, we took the kids to DC to try Ben's Chili Bowl and spend the day downtown. The line we encountered kept us walking down the street to seek out something quicker on U st. Ben's Chili must be very popular! I certainly understand how "with kids in tow" sometimes plans get changed!
I never heard of this place but wow - look at that line!!
Man, that's some queue. Must be good Chili! The only things with queue's like that in my home town are pay-machines in the car park!
Has it always been that busy or just since Obama ate there?
I love the shot........street scenes like this really appeal to me.
