You've got this just right Mike. The three boys really stand out but don't look out of kilter with the background. Neat use of dof as well, it puts the image in context.
It's great that you posted these images for review and took all the feedback and comments. There is a quote by English dramatist & novelist Somerset Maugham that goes "people ask for criticism, but they only want praise." This is no more so than when many people post on-line...
