A Sign Of Better Days To Come?

This rainbow busted out over the capital after a rain two Sundays ago during the National Book Festival. I used Dynamic Photo HDR, one shot raw HDR for the post processing. I am testing the trial right now to see if it is a good alternative to Photomatix Pro.

Nice photo. Let us know how you like it. I use Photomatrix.

Sorry for the sort comment, but We haven't been blogging much lately and commenting even less except in special cases. We should be back to normal in a month or so.

Thanks for the visit,
Troy and Martha

Mike this looks like a promising alternative to Photomatix. However, one issue is that they don’t make it for MAC. You can use boot camp if you had the Win OS running on your MAC. Just like using the “Fractalius” software they limit their market by only making a Win OS version.

Fantastic shot and processing! Aren't rainbows a wondrous thing? I figure you must be living right to have the opportunity to capture that scene...

Nice to see an image featuring a genuine rainbow...

I did the opposite to you and installed the trial version of Photomatix. I was using a previous version of Photomatix until Dynamic Photo HDRi came along.

My vote remains with Dynamic Photo HDRi, I find it has more and better functionality, along with producing superior results.

Mike,

What are the chances of capturing that rainbow right over the capitol? Definately one of a kind.

Looks promising, but too bad the developers eliminated a large percentage of the photography market by not having a mac version. I can only assume they think if we're using a mac we're way too sophisticated for their software.
