Green Avocado

For today's theme "Green" of Geographic Composition over at Jason D. Moore Photography. I am including the set up shot so you can see what I used to make the shot. I did some experimenting with the light and reflectors that I will share next week. Have a great weekend. Thanks for the nudge Jen.

I love avocado! This shot is perfect.

What is on the stand to the right of the table? A reflector of some type? (Forgive the novice question...)

Once again, you've made food I hate look appetizing. If this doesn't stop, my food preferences may need to be adjusted!

What a set up for such a little subject. The results prove how worth it is to have a great set up! I'm impressed!!!

Thanks for sharing the setup again Mike. I've got to shoot a "bottle of rapeseed oil" very soon and it's great to see how others shoot still life. The avocado has come out perfectly.

Great shot here, like Crash said, where's the chips and salsa? (Let's not forget the beer either...)
