Data Rescue PC

The cloning of the drive took about 35 hours, and it seems likely that most of the drive has been successfully saved. I went straight to the file I knew was corrupt (my 2008 end of year export) and it was there. So I am going to pull off what I need and then run the recovery. Have a good day and hopefully you never need this software, but just in case.

Good luck with all that Mike!

If you ever have problems with a card try one of these. I've had good luck with them. Image Recall, and PhotoRecovery by LC-Tech. They make the software for Sandisc cards. Also try different programs if one doesn't work since they tend to recover differently. I've never had a hard drive crash but expect to spend a few hours on a 2gig card.

I hope you're doing okay with the recovery. I would lose my mind...

Thanks for the information on the software.
