Flashlight as a light source

When we were heading out to the photowalk, we realized that we had not charged the point and shoot Nikon that Michael uses. Since we were heading to Georgetown to grab a burger and shake before the walk, I remembered that Urban Outfitters carried a line of Lomo cameras for sale. We got him a Lomo Fisheye Traveler Camera and 3 rolls of 35mm film.

For this shot, I used a Mini Maglite with a 1.6 sec exposure.

Anxious to hear about (and hopefully see) his shots.

Great improvisation. I can't wait til my children are old enough to hold a camera!

Flashlights are way more fun than strobes :)

Are you going to share his photos, or does he have his own blog already?

What a great idea for a way to paint with light - and a neat shot too!
