Orchid

D200 - 50 1.8 - A - ISO 200 - Manual Focus

I did not bring my macro or close up filter this time, we kind of decided on the USBG on the way down. You can always count on the Fifty.

Thats great manual focus work. I nearly always loose the sweet spot when doing flowers as the wind blows them etc. Great work. That fifty lens is definately nice to have in the bag.

I really like the second photo - with the crisp focus on one flower and all the ones in the background out of focus. Very nice!

Oooooooooooo.....love #2. It reminds me of a watercolor painting. Very nice.

The next lens on my shopping list is the "nifty fifty."

Good job... I cannot use manual focus ever (can I blame my bad eyes?)

When you DO use macro, what kind of lens do you have for that?

The fifty is always nifty! What a beautiful flower! The shots are beautiful with great DOF!
