Back from the quick trip north, We only made it to Bear Mountain, NY. Not full of the photo Op's that we had hoped for. When we had decent foliage we had no light, it was overcast most of the day yesterday - I did get a cool shot of a weed though = ) I will post it later this week.
It is really worth the trip to visit Richard Avedon's exhibit at the Corcoran Gallery in DC.
Took the family for a stroll at the National Zoo yesterday.

This rainbow busted out over the capital after a rain two Sundays ago during the National Book Festival. I used Dynamic Photo HDR, one shot raw HDR for the post processing. I am testing the trial right now to see if it is a good alternative to Photomatix Pro.

I shot this for them last month for a article on getting kids involved in the political process. It is in October 2008 issue.
