Tulip Abstract

From the Brookside Gardens set.

You ever have one of those perfect weekends, Julia was off for 4 days this past weekend, and I cannot remember a better weekend. We ate good food multiple times with friends, spent hours at our pool club on Saturday - Monday, the kids are at that official "you do not have to watch me every minute" we will check in and have fun with our friends stage. We made it downtown on Sunday for a walk at the Botanical Gardens, saw Rolling Thunder and ate dirty water half smokes and pretzels with mustard. In between all of that I got in 18 holes at Hampshire Greens. If this is a preview of the summer, I cannot wait!!!!

Oysters on the Front

I found out that hot sauce and horseradish is the best way = ) went down to the fish market in DC after our local swim and tennis club open this past Saturday, We were waiting for a bushel of crabs to be steamed, and could not resist the oysters - $11 for dozen - best deal in town!! So I have shots of the pool opening, a couple more market and Dave did "The Best Damn Crab Cake" (Dave is in the Texas shirt) on Sunday that I did a shot of. Big thanks to Cheryl for all of her diligence in picking the remaining crabs for us. I will be posting more from the weekend this week.

Green

I went over to check out Brookside Gardens yesterday, just put the 105 micro on and hand held with short burst shooting to get some abstracts ala some inspiration from Jen Weaver. I was looking for color and texture. It is most definetely a go back with the tripod place. Wolf?
