Working it too hard

The weather gods were not with me on the cruise in Portland, Maine. I did a little ReDynaMix, Dfine, ColorEfex Pro on these. I like them a bit, but these are the edits you go back too a couple days later and go "What was I thinking". Better Luck next time. Heather, the lighting in yeterdays post was all available light. F3.5 @ 1/125th. Jen - I did the toning is CS3 BW adjustment layer, and used The Debigulator in OnOne Pro Phototools.

I like them both, but the black and white the most. The "dreary" weather/sky works well with the lack of color in the buildings.

Mike,

I really like the color version.

I really like them both for different reasons.

B&W for a great stormy look
Color because the color really pops with the processing.

Great place!!

I MUST get to Maine...my kinda scenes!

PS: I must try the Debigulator

I really like the second image; it reminds me of the hand colored images of “yesteryear”...

Well done Mike...

wow Mike...that other photo was all available light? That must be why I loved it so much!
