Still working the butterfly angle. I really have to say that if you like close up photography, the canon close up filter on a Nikkor lens is really a must have. This shot when I looked at the meta data was shot @ 38mm on the 24 - 70 2.8. If I had my 105 macro, I would have compressed the scene and not have had the room for this type of composition. The butterfly garden was crowded. I was usually 8 to 15 inch's away, so with the wide angle I was able to have better control of composition. Well, that's my story and I am sticking to it.

Mr Palmer, will you be attending Photoshop World in Vegas next week. I will and was just wondering. Maybe you could buy me that piece of pie or a Key Lime martini. Anyway keep up the fine work here and I might be getting my own blog soon as mine current dial-up account has expired. FIOS is on the way. Woo-hoo.

Mr. Meyer
I shall not be in attendance, maybe next spring - rain check please - looking forward to you getting your blog on sir!
Another beautiful shot. Have you contacted National Geo yet? They could use a guy like you. What's up with Mike M and the pie? My favorite pie is strawberry rhubarb yum I could eat a whole pie by myself!!
Hey Banjo Bob, mike m. here. Yeh the pie thing is just a crazy thing that got started back when Jeff Revell did his first photo walk. It's really quite silly. But I do love a good blueberry pie.

Yum on the blueberry pie. My next favorite is cherry pie. Hope to see you at a photowalk so we can get down on some pie!

Mike, superb clarity here. Good of you to explain how you shot it.
