Float

Hard to come up with names to these since I am species illiterate on butterflies. Maybe I should get a book? Sure been buggy around here, I have a couple more to share from the adventure to Brookside Garden. I have a few shoots lined up soon, so I need to get busy on them.

Also if you are interested in HDR techniques, IcemanUk sent me a email last night about a 23 frame HDR Panoramic he just finished. You can check it out here.

I'm pretty sure this is a Blue Clipper Butterfly. I was at Brookside last week photographing the butterflies. I photographed a similar one and then checked with the staff and they said Blue Clipper.

Mike,

Wow... another stunning image! This really is great work.

On the HDR image, I'm not that sure about it. I agree with the comment on flickr about the ghosting and the perspective being out. Battersea Powerstation is a famous London landmark which has been photographed many times. I've seen much better examples achieved through a lot less effort.

That is the mother of all butterfly pics - simply amazing colors.

Beautiful shot dude. I'm really liking your bees and butterflies on flowers series. The Brookside Garden looks like a cool place to go!
